Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy
Caught in a land slide
No escape from reality
It has been said that in the end of days, the four horsemen will ride across the earth to set a divine apocalypse upon the world, as harbingers of the last judgement.
And their names
Hello I’m Lisa Bradshaw and welcome to “in your world tonight”
Coming up on tonight’s show;
Bacteria, it’s here, it’s there, and it’s everywhere -How to protect your family against flu this season.
We take a deeper look into Melbourne’s underground drug scandal
And have an exclusive interview with Mother Nature
But up first climate change
The need to know info you’re too ignorant to see
With the magnetic field of the earth fading its job of shielding our planet from radiation and energetic particles from space has been negatively affected with a decrease in efficiency of 10% since 1901. This is allowing CO2 levels in our atmosphere to increase significantly and have an impact on the temperature of our precious earth. With Australia generating 1.5% of emissions it is ranked the third highest contributor of greenhouse gasses in the developed world.
Moving out of an ice age temperatures raised a total of 4 to 7 degrees Celsius over 5,000 years. In the past century alone, the temperature has climbed 0.7 degrees Celsius, roughly ten times faster than the average rate of ice-age-recovery warming.
Models predict that Earth will warm between 2 and 6 degrees Celsius in the next century. This means that while in the past it has taken the planet 5,000 years to warm 5 degrees. The predicted rate of warming for the next century is at least 20 times faster.
We’ll cross live now to Bec ………..
Bec: Hi I’m Rebecca Cook, coming to you from in front of the state library where the All Christian Congress is rallying to stop people from taking action against Climate Change. Let’s see what they have to say about the issue
Bridget: This isn’t our fault! God created it and all. God created earth, sky, night and day. He created man and woman so how come climate change is our fault!
Jonika and maddy: AMEN
Brdiget: If there was a God up there, he would just come down and fix it. This is God’s way and this is God’s will! This is God’s plan! Don’t interrupt God’s plan!!! STOP CLIMATE CHANGE ACTION!!!
Bec: That is a very interesting view on the matter. Now, tonight, we have special footage of mother nature having an interview by a psychiatrist about her mental state. Let’s have a look
Jonika: so mother nature how do you feel?
Maddy: I feel violated, and used and just like people keep taking and taking from me and never giving back. I give so much to people and they just forget about me
Jonika: why do you think this is?
Maddy: I don’t know people forget that I need to be looked after as well, I have needs and I just want to be loved like everyone else. Its like they are out to get me
Jonika: its ok mother nature, no one is after you
(bec shoots mother nature)
Bridget: annnnnnd that’s a wrap
Bec: War. When your words cut like blades and you struggle for power, when you argue for no reason whatsoever, and you forget what’s important, even the world on which you live, War is in your heart, and it is there to stay.
Jonika: hello everyone and welcome to survival for dummies. everyone clap. As the evidence for climate change piles up, the only question left is “what are we going to do about it?” Here are some options:
- Practice treading water until you can do it for 50 years at a time.
- Start being nicer to that crazy neighbor building an ark in his backyard.
- Get ahead of the curve by writing some new snow-less Christmas songs.
Ensemble: all I want for Christmas is rain..?
- Hijack a Virgin Galactic space-tourism ship. Next stop Mars, son!
- Find the 3% of the scientific community who don’t confirm that climate change is caused by people and cut off their heads to gain their incredible powers of denial.
And that’s all folks you better get started on these because it’s all your fault and you deserve it.
Jonika: the gods have summoned us. And we shall comply with their instruction. The humans have proved to be unfaithful to the earth’s needs and so we shall ride with our judgment that they should no longer have dominion over the earth.
Brdiget: they have lost their way, they have forgotten that God gave them dominion over earth, they’ve forgotten their purpose they only care for themselves.
Jonika: Famine what is your plan?
Bridget: I’ll start by cursing their soil dry and make their bones turn frail. Hold their waters and rule them to locusts.
Bec: I will let corruption and anger rest in their mind, their friends will turn to foes and allies will disappear, politicians become dictators and the people will rise against. Brother against brother the world will turn in on itself.
Jonika: I will plague heir souls with a never ending darkness, their hopes into despair. No cures shall be found and all hope shall be lost. Boiling in their blood sickness will bubble at their skin.
Maddy: drawing out on their suffering I’ll take them piece by piece, one last breathes to hold them concrete. From their birth till their end I will guide them through, pull the rope and obscure their view.
Jonika: excellent, set to succeed when dawn comes we will take to our steads.
Bridget: (singing) I see trees of green,
red roses too.
I see them bloom,
for me and you.
And I think to myself,
what a wonderful world.
Ensemble: I see sorrow and I see fear the humans polluting the atmosphere.
One step, two steps,
Counting tiles on the floor
Three steps, four steps, humans start another war.
The Horsemen are drawing nearer
On the leather steeds they ride
They have come to take your life
On through the dead of night
With the four Horsemen ride
or choose your fate and die
Famine is an increasing problem for many parts of South Africa. More than half a million people suffer from malnutrition in South Africa. At least 700 children under 5 die each day from malnutrition. By next year, aproximately 900,000 children could die from famine. UNICEF’s immediate goal is to treat more than 150,000 severely malnourished children under five. It’s not just a famine from food though… What happens when you lose faith? Lose touch with society? If we feel like there isn’t any point for us. We feel like if we just leave, no one will remember who we were, or why we were here. What even is our purpose on this earth. Why are we here?
Whilst saying this speech, Maddy, Rebecca and Jonika starts to walk around looking confused and lost, gradually building to a climax, when they all start running franticly around me.
If we just stop everything.
On “stop”, everyone freezes around me, staring into space.
So we can sit back and watch our lives pass by us. Will anyone ever stop to remember.
It’s up to us to change this growing disaster, not the rest of the world. Don’t let famine take control.
A is for Anthrax
B is for Bubonic plague

D is for Dysentery
I pity your poor souls ruined by your incompetent mistakes. That’s the reason why you’re here is it not?
Patient number 452: diagnosed with Nature deficit disorder – being less exposed to the environment resulting in a wide range of behavioural problems. Poor girl, being holed up in her pig-styled room, watching haphazard things on the internet; spending all night looking at Facebook and other garbage, hours upon hours reading how terrible life is, how delicious some food were and other nonsense that she lost her relationship with nature.
Patient number 453: diagnosed with Mysophobia – a pathological fear of contamination and germs. She avoid everyone like the plague, she thought everyone was unclean, disgusting. The only place she detested the most was nature. All of the dirt laying on the ground, trying to touch her and the people there; contaminated with filth and germs, that she shut everyone out. She was petrified of the thought: all the germs and grime reaching out to touch her, and take her away.
Patient number 454: diagnosed with Adjustment disorder – occurs when an individual cannot adjust or cope with a particular stressor, like a major life event. She believed climate change was real; always supported her belief. But when she voiced her opinion, everyone hated her. She felt like the whole world shunned her; she looked, for someone who was on her side, who knew that climate change was real, but there was no one. She couldn’t keep up with the pressure, the feeling of despair… that’s when she snapped
A is for Antibiotics
B is for Benzodiazepines (ben-zoh-die-az-uh-peens)
C is for Chemo
D is for Death
Rebecca: Left arm à right arm up, grab, then slump
Bridget: creepy arm touching? On right arm à left arm, then suck the life out of you (。-`ω´-)
Maddy: 1 rotation (clockwise), move to the right à left, back to middle, then clap
Death walks forward
And look at you. Standing mighty the human race. Out to declare a war against the earth itself.
You fear pestilence, famine and battle but when the sick and starved have fallen and the battalions retreat what have you to fear but the inevitable truth of ME. DEATH!
Don’t look so surprised, we warned you,
Ensemble members form a v shape standing with their heads down in a strong position
- Written in ancient scriptures it talks of chaos being unleased upon the earth and we have been bleeding our way into your world ever since. During this scene ensemble members yell historical events out over the top of the main speaker that relate to each topic. When a country suffers drought, there’s no food, when you have no faith and question your religion famine is watching over you. ensemble: Great Chinese Famine 43 million dead
- Soviet Famine of 1932-1933 10 million dead
- The Bengal Famine of 1770 10 million dead
- And when depression and anxiety rests on your soul and your skin bubbles over with infection pestilence has invested you. ensemble:Bubonic Plague 250 Million Europeans Dead (1/3 population)
- Malaria 2.7 Million Deaths per year-2800 children per day
- and The Black Death 75 million Deaths
- When there is political debate, or genocide or you rage a glorious terror on another, War is placed in your heart. ensemble: Muslim conquests of India 80 Million deaths
- World War II 85 Million deaths
- The Mongol Conquest 60 Million deaths with 1,00,000 Chinese committed mass suicides.
This time instead of historical events being called out the names of peoples loved ones will be. And when life has exhausted your frail bodies, I’ll pull red from inside of you, casting my shadow across your soul feeding on the potential you had and the opportunities you wasted. I will take your loved ones and I will take you. As death says this we play out the scene where death kills everyone, only this time she pulls the red fabric from your neck and you stand still holding your own neck like we did at the very start before we fell down and you wait until the last stage direction below.
Still holding neck So don’t say we didn’t warn you, you have done this to yourselves! Climate change warned you of the end, that the earth was in danger but instead you chose to repel
Death takes it all. I win death crosses fists and pull them out again ensemble falls to the floor.
